SPRING 2024 ISSUE THEME IS.... BLOSSOMING LOVE!

INFORMATION

  • This is Witch Hat Atelier quarterly free digital fan zine that focuses on oc and world.

  • We want to create a dedicated space to the witch hat atelier original characters and stories about the world in which the story is set!

  • Zine will look and function like a newspaper. For more information on how it would look like please refer to our previous issue here.

  • Starting with the second issue, every issue will have it's own theme! For more information please look at the theme section.

submission rules

  • characters can be witches, brimhats, unknowings, animals etc.

  • new spells are allowed with explanations

  • drawings/writing can be in any genre.

  • daily news, urban legends, gossips, fashion articles or sewing patterns and even recipes (preferably with pictures) are all allowed. if you think this could exist in the wha universe you are more than free to submit your work to us!

  • all works have to be SFW (no explicit content)

  • any glamorisation of incest, non-con, dub-con, pedophilia, student-teacher relationships, sexual and/or underaged sexual content is not allowed

  • all of the submission shouldn’t be related to any of the witch hat atelier cast

Yes! Since this is the first issue we allow it.Can I post the artwork and/or writing outside of the zine?
Yes! However, if the work wasn't posted before signing up to the zine please wait until the release of the zine to post it.I am not sure if i wrote my information correctly in the sign-up form. Can I resubmit?

Yes! As long as it follows the guidelines we will accept the work.Can I make more than one piece?
We want to limit one work per issue. However, you can check in with us and we can see what we can do.Can I collaborate with someone on the work?

Starting with the second issue we will be giving a general theme for every participant. You can interpret it in any way you want. You have a full freedom on it!Does my work has to be on the theme?
No! You don't have to follow the theme as we added it to make zine more fun especially for people who want to submit regularly.

Spring 2024 theme is BLOSSOMING LOVE

Starting with the second issue of the zine we will introduce themes! As the zine continues to make its come back we want to make it more fun for everyone submitting the work so we added a general theme that everyone can follow. We hope you enjoy the themes we pick!About this month theme: As spring comes back and flowers start to blossom, love blossoms too. We want to express love for a friend, family, lover, and even for a craft that we do. We hope to see the work reflect all the blossoming love possible. We can't wait to see the work you might create for the theme!PLEASE NOTE: Participation in the theme is NOT mandatory. You work will still be accepted regardless of if it follows the theme or not
